  • Will I pay a delivery charge?

    Yes each delivery fee is listed next to the lot details, but buyers will receive free delivery if they purchase five or more lots in any one auction.

  • What if the goods arrive damaged?

    In the rare event of any damages through transit, buyers must contact us via e mail with full details including photos within 12hrs of the lot being received.

  • How soon will the goods be delivered?

    We will endeavour to deliver buyers lots within 7 working days upon confirmation of payment and buyers will be notified via phone or email of the expected delivery date and time.

  • Where will my goods be delivered to?

    Deliveries will automatically be arranged to be delivered to the address that the buyer registered first time when they registered with us and card details matching to the same address. Alternative delivery address request can be made but we will only allow it on Best Bid Auctions Discretion as some goods are expensive items.

  • Can I collect the lots?

    Yes lots can be collected but will need to arrange time and date and if lots won are under five lots the postage cost will be refunded once items are collected.

  • How will the goods be delivered?

    Each lot will state whether it will be Royal Mail, special delivered or Best Bid Auctions own courier, all fees will be stated in the lot details.

  • Are the mobile phones unlocked and graded?

    Yes all our mobile phones that are not brand new are graded, unlocked and checked before sold.

  • Who is the warranty with on the consumer electronic Lots?

    The 30 day warranty is with Best Bid Auctions and will start from the invoice date.

  • Are my credit/debit card details safe?

    Under the Data Protection Act no buyers details including email addresses, delivery address and payment details will be passed to third parties. Only the merchant provider who process the payments hold these details and Best Bid Auctions will have no direct access to them.

  • Is my registered Credit/Debit card the only method of payment?

    No, you can also make alternative payments if you wish but you would need to contact us via email and make us aware soon as the auction ends otherwise the registered payment method is automatically charged.

  • Will my Credit/Debit card be charged automatically or do I need to make a payment?

  • How does Autobid work?

    Autobid is a great feature for buyers as it allows you to set the highest amount you are willing to pay; if somebody outbids you the website will automatically bid on your behalf using the smallest increment set.

  • Is there a maximum number of lots I can buy in one auction?

    No, buyers can bid and buy as many lots as they like.

  • Do I need to register to bid?

    Yes, with a very few step you can register on our home page.

  • Are there private viewings of the lots available prior to the auction?

    Yes, at the moment we are only doing viewing on request due to COVID19 but in near future there will be set viewing time for each catalogues with safety precautions in mind including compulsory use of face mask.   • Are the lots pre-owned or new?

    Our lots can arrange from brand new, Used and Vintage and are clearly stated in description of each lot.

  • Is there VAT Chargeable on items?

    Yes vat is chargeable on items and will be listed in lots.

  • Does best bid auction charge a hammer fee for the lots?

    Yes Best Bid Auctions charge a hammer fee which is listed in each lots.
